Packing instructions

THINGS YOU NEED:
1) 2 blank papers, a pen, an Envelope or ZipLock Bag.
3) Shipping Box ( You may use any type of box up to 6 cubic feet.
4) Packing Tape ( Gray Duct tape is not recommended.)
5) Scissor.
6) Marker.
7) Large Trash bag can be used as liner, Optional.
8) Plastic Grocery Bags to protect other items in case of breakage of liquid container.

 

[STEP 2]

1) Tape the bottom flap of the box. Place tape horizontally and vertically on the flaps and connecting corners. Keep the top open.

2) Place a large trash bag inside the box to provide protection.

3) Get a paper and pen. Begin packing. List down each and every item you place in the box.

4) Protect liquid and jelly products from spilling by placing inside a plastic bag. Secure the caps with tape before closing the grocery bag.

5) Maintain a neat stack.

6) Do not make the box so heavy for easy and safe handling. If possible, spread out the heavy items to other boxes.

7) Cushion the top with padded materials. Place plastic bag or magazines on top to protect the items inside from tape adhesive.

8) Secure the large trash bag liner with a knot or tape.

9) Tape the top flap of the box.

10) On the other piece of paper write down,

Shippers Details: Your Name, Current Address, Phone/ Cell Number, Your Email Address.

Receiver Details. Full Name (as it appears on his/her national identification card). His/her current phone or Cell Number, town or city of the receiver.

11) Make a copy of the two papers. Keep the copy for your records.

12) Fold and place the original papers in and envelope or ziplock. Then tape it on top of the box.

13) On top or side of the box, legibly mark down the shipper's and consignee's information using permanent marker. Make sure you provide the Names, Complete addresses, Telephone Numbers, Cell Phone.
